I'm Graduating Because...

This post has been on my mind for about a year. I am slowly realizing the fact that I will be done with my education and it's because of every little detail that went into my classes. Graduation is a bitter/sweet process. I don't feel ready, but at the same time I have learned so much and am ready to face what's next.

I'm Graduating Because...
  • I took those tests in the testing center with only scratch paper to use.
  • I walked to every class in the sun, rain and snow.
  • I sent that e-mail.
  • I completed my non-paid internship.
  • I stayed until the library closed to finish those assignments.
  • I stayed until the Spori computer lab closed to finish those assignments.
  • I studied.
  • I worked.
  • I prayed for help.
  • I managed my time.
  • I helped those students with their assignments.
  • I grew in understanding.
  • I cried.
  • I watched tutorials online.
  • I did a grad plan.
  • I took 17 credits and worked one job in a semester.
  • I took 16 credits and worked two jobs in my final semester.
  • I stayed up late.
  • I pulled a handful of all-nighters.
  • I procrastinated.
  • I worked ahead.
  • I passed with a C+ in American Foundations.
  • I went to the tutor.
  • I printed countless posters/brochures/portfolios.
  • I got up instead of sleeping in.
  • I sacrificed many showers/pretty hair styles/makeup days to get to class on time.
  • I switched my major twice until I felt good about my decision.
  • I met with an academic advisor. many times.
  • I rented the school's camera equipment.
  • I met new people that I will always remember.
  • I learned.

"By small and simple means, great things are brought to pass."
Today is a happy day.
