18 weeks

I'm new to this pregnancy/baby thing. I'm not quite sure when I need to be posting updates! So I've decided every other week. Here it goes for 18!

How far along: 18 weeks

Baby Size: An heirloom tomato!

Due Date: June 23, 2015

Total weight gain: 4 lbs.

Maternity Clothes: Love those things.

Stretch Marks: Yep.

Sleep: Pretty good. Wish I could sleep longer, but I've gotta pay the bills. 

Best moments: Feeling the baby move like crazy in the morning and at night.

Movement: Yes!

Food Cravings: This week it was probably muffins.

Wedding ring on or off: On.

Happy or Moody: Happy :)

Looking Forward to: Our gender reveal party!! 

Thank you to those of you who voted for my picture this week on the z103.fm website. We had the chance to win a nursery and made it to the second round, but not the third. I wasn't prepared for all that voting! The directions weren't very clear and I had no idea it would be that much voting. So I'm sorry for blowing up your Facebook News Feed. 

It's overwhelming to even think about buying things for baby. So far we have purchased a fox stuffed animal - only because it was cute! haha. I'm looking into the very essentials (not fox stuffed animals) that we will need when buying for baby. I think it's hard for me to decide on things because we don't know the gender yet, but it would be smart to get gender neutral things for the future too... Just too many decisions!

I am proud of myself for doing a birth plan. It's been fun and scary thinking about that day... yikes.

BABY

I guess it's finally time to tell this little blog that we are having a BABY! I love my little baby bump coming in. It's precious + annoying to sleep with.

Kent and I had a little scare this weekend though. We went for a jog and something didn't feel right. Luckily they let us have an appointment today and everything is good! We heard the little heartbeat and the lady said he/she kept kicking. We find out the gender on February 3rd + we are VERY excited!

I'm going to answer questions and keep up with the bumpdates so that I have something to blog about finally!

Baby Size: 4-5 inches

Maternity Clothes: I bought two shirts and the black dress I am wearing. Those things are EXPENSIVE. My friend Jodi gave me a box of her Maternity clothes. Thank you Jodi. 

Stretch Marks: I have noticed them coming on... yay.

Sleep: I sleep on my sides with a pillow in between my legs. I would much rather sleep on my stomach.      

Best moments: Hearing the heartbeat with Kent today.

Movement: Yeah! It feels like a little frog squirming around in there.

Food Cravings: Fried Chicken, Cereal and more cereal. 

Wedding ring on or off: It's on. 

Happy or Moody: SO MOODY. I will cry. Watch out.
