official hello

First post of our NEW blog! I am so ready and excited for this experience. My last blog: casadebuys.blogspot.com was fun, but this one has a focus! I have a list of posts that I am scheduling to do this semester and I plan to continue this fun journey even after school ends.

A little bit about the MR.

• When I grow up... I want to be a good person. I  would like the occupation of a Physical Therapist. 
• My hobbies include basketball, being with my wife, and crocheting. 
• Derrick (my brother) took his training wheels off when he was two. I'm 14 months older and I took mine off when I was five. 
• In third grade I asked my dad to buy a whole bag of sweetheart candy hearts for "my class". I really just wanted to give them to a girl named Joanna for Valentine's Day. She was about a food and a half taller than me. 
• I would love to end up in Hawaii because it's nice weather all the time and it's beautiful.
• I love to scare people and watch them get scared but would rather not be scared myself.
• I'm a morning person. If there is a movie on and I'm laying down on a couch, I'm out. 
• I grew up with toy poodles named Tinkerbell (black) Beethoven (white) & Bear and Koda (brown). 
• I'm 25.
• I served an LDS mission in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Spanish Speaking. I was always in a different culture: Spanish, Native American & Marshallese. I loved serving the people there.
• Most embarrassing moment: While crossing the street holding Anna's hand, I didn't even feel anything coming and then all the sudden, a toot just came out. I turned and tried to talk about something but she stopped and said, "Did you just toot?" It was hilarious, but SO embarrassing. 

A little bit about the MRS.

• I was born in Manhattan, Kansas. Not to be confused with the New York one. I love it there! Hopefully Kent and I will settle down in a place similar to it (or Hawaii... haha).
• I am graduating Brigham Young University - Idaho on December 19, 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication. I don't have a job lined up yet. 
• I love to design/edit photos on my iMac Desktop.
• I have a photography business.
• I love plants, obviously (I wanted to hold something for my second picture... so I held my plant). 
• I have thick hair.
• I was named after my great grandma. Her actual name was Nana.
• I love simple/modern anything.
• I can stay up late and sleep forever. My record is sleeping for 16 hours in one night. In high school I would come home from school at 5 p.m. to take a nap, then wake up at 5 a.m. just in time for Seminary the next morning. 
• I'm 22.
• I love all animals. I was one of those tomboy girls that had 7 frogs living in an aquarium in my room.
• I can't stand any type of fish. I still cannot accept the fact that some come from the ocean and then place it in my mouth. bleh.
• My first crush was in 3rd grade to a boy named Garrett. The only memory I have of him was the night of Halloween he came to trick or treat at my house. He asked, "Where's Anna?" Claire responded, "She's on the pot." I love my sister.
• My favorite store is Target, I always loose track of time and money. (Handy Pinterest Quote)
