My dear friend, Lauren Dominguez has been coming up with brilliant ways of posting through the week. I'm trying to get into the habit of blogging everyday, and she has helped!
Here is a little bit about her:
She is a mother and wife. A mother to the cutest little Maelie. She graduated BYU-Idaho in Spring 2013 with her degree in Elementary Education. She completed her student teaching while she was pregnant. AKA she is AWESOME. We would have "parenthood" show nights and "Call the midwife" and "Bachelor" show nights at her place when she lived in Rexburg, ID. She currently lives in Oklahoma with her little family while her husband finishes his Internship.

Lauren’s Favorite things:
Cherry flavored “Granny”
ChapStick —This delicious ChapStick is what my Granny has had with her ever
since I can remember (hence the name “Granny” ChapStick)-- in her purse, in the
glove box, in the night stand drawers and the tables next to her rocking chair.
This is the ONLY ChapStick that does the job for me. It’s not just the brand,
but the specific flavor is what I’m
obsessed with. You can get a 3-pack for $2.94 at Walmart.
Mainstay Warm Apple
Pie Candle—This candle has been smelling up my apartments for a long time!
It is less than $5 at, once again, Walmart. The scent is strong enough to fill
your home, but won’t make you pass out from being too strong.
McDonald’s chocolate
chip cookies—In Oklahoma you can get 3 of these pieces of heaven for $1.
I’ll be honest, there was a week or two in my short time here in Oklahoma that
I got these 4 out of 7 days in the week. I was slightly obsessed.
Red Band Society—So
when Fall comes around I turn into a TV junkie. I have my shows that I’ve
watched for multiple seasons, but I usually try out a new show too…this Fall is
Red Band Society on FOX. So far I’m happy with my choice.
Pancake Art by Nathan
Sheilds on YouTube—So maybe it sounds childish, but I could watch his
videos for HOURS! I mean, I thought I was pretty cool when I figured out I
could make a Mickey Mouse pancake…I’ve got nothing on this guy! This guy makes
intense pancake art including beetles, The Beatles, Apes, and Zombies! Maybe
one day I’ll even be brave enough to try it myself. Check him out!
